Steven's Story

After leaving Pulaski I screwed around a bit. I worked, traveled and even went to UWM for a while. Eventually I ended up at MATC graduating with a degree in photography. I was able to get a photographer's job at daily newspapers in Beloit and Marinette. I met some great people and had wonderful experiences. During that time I became involved with Donna Bade a 74 Pulaski grad. In 1988 we moved to California. Donna studied accupuncture and I continued with photography. I was looking for a change and by chance found an interest in physical therapy. I went back to school and got in to a physical therapy graduate program at UC-San F...Expand for more
rancisco. By that time Donna was finished with her studies and moved back to Wisconsin to practice accupuncture. The relationship eventually ended. But then I met my wife Shelley in PT school. She is a California girl and so we stayed. We have two great kids, Matt and Annie who are now in Castro Valley high school. I have been a physical therapist for 20 years now and still enjoy the challenge. We get out to Wisconsin every summer to visit my family, do the Summerfest or State Fair thing and hit the fish frys and custard stands. Milwaukee has really changed, well, except for Leon's, and that is good. It is always great to visit.
