Stevi's Story
It's been about a year and a half since I retired after working several years at the University of South Florida in Tampa. Long days and a couple of hours of daily travel got old, so I gave it up before I was really ready to stop working. But I'm now free to babysit grandchildren whenever the call comes and do other fun things. And not so fun, like work on my house.
I have four children, three of whom live in FL and one in OH west of Toledo and have nine grandchildren. I was divorced about ten years ago, but prior to that, we lived in IL, WI, PA, and OH twice. ...Expand for more
If you have plans to come to Central Florida, let me know. There's more here than Universal and Disney. Clearwater Marine Aquarium is the home of Winter the dolphin, star of the two Dolphin Tale movies. And yes, I have seen her! The beaches are beautiful. Football in the fall, baseball in March. Lots of golf. Anyway, you get the idea.
I moved to Sun City Center about four years ago, a retirement city of over 10,000 residents. There are several similar ones in other parts of the state, but this one is near my children and not too far from the beaches.
