Life
September 2007 UPDATE: No longer in LA. Moved to a small town named Ferndale, about 5 hours north of San Francisco. Restoring an old Victorian built in 1893. It is fun to reawaken its soul. I am up in Humboldt county and very close to the amazing Redwood forests. Starting up a private practice again and working at College of the Redwoods Community College as an Associate Faculty in the Addiction Studies Program. I teach most of the classes in the program which trains entry level addiction counslors and prepares half the students to go on to bachelors and masters in social work or related fields. Love teaching. I have not been this challenged and fulfilled in years. Anyone in the area or passing through, get in touch.

I was diagnosed with ADD at age 45, which helped me make sense out of a lot of my struggles. Of course, now this is an area of expertise in my practice (adult ADD).
Single, Gay and live in a great 80 year old English Tudor in Hollywood. Just bought a 3 bedroom "cabin" in Lake Arrowhead for a vacation rental and my own use. I love the mountains!
I have been "in the trenches" during this AIDS epidemic since 1985 including starting programs in the former Soviet Union in the early 1990's.
I now do an AM radio talk show, "Tell the Truth, Faster!" on a station in Phoenix Az. It is a live call-in show on mental health issues.
I look foward to hearing from old friends.
