Sue's Story
After high school, I went to Hancock for 2 years, then was hired by TWA and flew out of NYC for a year. Then I flew out of LAX for the next year and married my husband in 1969. He went to Viet Nam 1969-1970 and I transfered to San Francisco. After he got out of the Army in 1970, he went to work for the FAA as an air traffic controller. We lived in several CA cities until we moved to Lancaster, CA in 1976. We stayed there until 2004 when he retired.
We have 2 children , 4 grandd...Expand for more
aughters and 1 grandson. We are both now retired and we lived in Waikiki, Hawaii for 9 years. We left Hawaii in April 2013 and full time RVd around the US for 1 year. We moved to Craig, CO in April 2014 to be close to our daughter's family. We will still RV during the winters!
We have been married for 45 years and are lovin' life!
UPDATE: My husband passed away in 2017 from brain cancer. We were married for 48 years. I still live close to our daughter's family in Craig, CO.
