Sue's Story
Life
Married and living in the country in Lapeer County, about 50 miles north of Detroit, with woods around us and a pond that we used to swim in until the critters took over. We have five children, 9 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. They are all still in Michigan and most of them live down in the city. We have really gotten used to living in a small town and love it, so we prefer the kids come up here for a visit rather than going South and driving in all that traffic.
We are semi retired. I put in 30 years at Chrysler Corp. as a secretary and worked part time just to keep my skills upfor about 8 years now am wor...Expand for more
king full time again in a surgeons office. Have been there almost 3 years and love it.. My husband Marv is a native of Pennsylvania so he loves the country life here. He is a retired furniture refinisher and keeps his had in it every now and then.
We have one little 8 pound ShiTzu dog and she is our entertainment. We do a little traveling, but not as much as we used to. But maybe this year will be the start of something new.
I have kept in contact with a few of our classmates, but not nearly as many as I wish I had. Time has gone by way too fast and yet it seems like only yesterday we were singing the Cody song in school.
