Sue's Story
My Life So Far ~
Someone requested I write my story.
Well, I must say, I have been very blessed. I have had a very good life so far. Since I left high school, I have traveled, I have been in love and I have been loved (more than once-lucky me!). I have had some great relationships, great friendships, great jobs. I have always had a roof over my head and food to eat. I have always had a decent job. I have been able to see different places and meet different people. I have been lucky enough to move to the mountains where I always wanted to live.
I have three beautiful children. All unique. All special. They mean the world to me. I love them so very much. I am lucky.
I have a wonderful family. We all support each other in good times and in bad. We love each other unconditionally.
At age 54 I have experienced many ups and downs. I have experienced the loves, the disappointments, the trials and tribulations and the celebrations of life. I have experienced great loss. I have experienced great joy. I have experienced great pain and I have experienced great happiness.
I have made many good choices and I have made many poor choices. I have been living and loving life. I have discovered that I am capable of loving deeply and passionately. I have discovered that I am capable of working hard. I have discovered that I am what I am. I have discovered that life goes on - - - in spite ...Expand for more

I am blessed with good friends. I am blessed with a loving family. I am blessed that luck is on my side too. The old sayings are true - tomorrow is a new day. Life is what you make it. One day at a time. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. What goes around, comes around. And, the good ole serenity prayer holds true:
"God grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change;
The courage to change the things I can;
And the wisdom to know the difference....."
I still believe in kindness. I still believe in trust. I still believe in family. I still believe in friendship. I still believe in being true to yourself. I still believe if you work hard, if you have faith, and you hope and you pray, anything is possible. I believe you can change. I believe people can change. I believe people can never change too. It's up to the person. I believe in live and let live. I believe in freedom of speech. I believe in freedom of choice. I believe in fairness. I believe in being yourself. I believe in not judging others, even if their opinion is different. I still believe in good over evil. I still believe in right and wrong. I still believe in honesty. I still believe in trust. I still believe in faith. I still believe in love.
I keep learning and growing. I am thankful for so many things.
