Sue's Story
Sue's schools include Terry Parker High School, Lynchburg College, George Mason University, Marymount University. have BS in elementary ed & MEd in special education k-12;
Was special educator at the high school level; taught biology and physics; then was special education administrator for last 10 years who kept track of legal issues and kept us from getting sued; now retired; live in Annapolis, MD; Son lives in Annapolis and daughter lives near Charlottesville/Sperryville - love this part of the country and like being near my kids; mother still lives in Jax. and is a very young, spry 92 years old; see her every couple of months; she also flies up to see me; dad passed away in 2010;
many may remember my brother John who was 8 years younger but around a lot when I was in high school; at the time, I felt like I couldn't get rid of him - He is now retired from Jax Police/Sheriff and is a school resource officer in Jax. He was a bail...Expand for more
iff in Duval County court system. He is now with the school system. He lives in Callahan and is a grandfather with granddaughter and new grandson. I have one grandson who is 6. Of course, he is the apple of my eye. I get to see him regularly; however, since he started school, I usually go see them in Charlottesville/Sperryville area. He does come spend some time with me in the summer and goes to day camps.
I travel as much as my pocketbook will let me. I have been very lucky to be able to travel extensively in Europe before I retired. And am always looking to return!! Just got back from trip to New Orleans and am planning fall trip to England & France. See Melodie Nolan when I come to Jax. She recently moved from Jax. back to the Gainesville/Brooker area. She has not changed at all. We have good times when we get together. Have also seen Pam Beighley and Charlotte Barkely on one trip down. We all got together for lunch.
