My Spouse
Mike Bassett came to Texas in 1978 to visit and say "thank you" to the man who started the center where I worked as a counselor (his life was changed as a result of his earlier contact with him). We wrote letters for two months, actually "dated" for two weeks, and got engaged during those two weeks. We married on February 9, 1979, in Georgia. I've lived in Georgia since that time and I have four great children and a wonderful husband.

Oscar - my 15 year old daughter's kitten who lives inside and is the whole family's "baby"
My Kids
Aaron - 20 years old - graduated as Student Body President in 1999
Bryan - 18 years old - will graduate this coming May as Student Body President
Christa - 15 years old - Cheerleader, Honor Roll student, Gymnastics, Popular at school, with a sweet and sensitive approach to people
Anna - 12 years - Cheerleader, Honor Roll Student, Popular at school with a big heart, but very honest and frank when talking to people
My Job
I have my own House Cleaning Service (part time only)
