Susan's Story
Life
Got married a year after graduating from school. My husband was drafted and after his basic training we moved to Texas for almost a year before he was sent to Viet Nam. We had 1 child. We were fortunate enough to have her with us for 34 years but she is now deceased. She gave us two grandchildren, a boy who is now 24 and a girl who is 15. The 15 year old lives with us. we have become very good friends. The last few years I have been having the time of my life. Life is good. As of 11/24/07 my life became even better. We had a new addition to the family as of 8:05 am. Her name is Lilian Michele and she made me a great grand parent. As of 5/1/09 Lilian has a baby sister by the name of Madilyn Marie. A little sad news as of 11/19/09, my mom left us after 90 years. She was ready to go see my dad who unfortunately passed away in 1984. We all miss them very much.
