Susan's Story
Life
I haven't been to any of our class reunions, however I think of days gone by a lot. I currently live in Macon, Missouri where I practice as an attorney. I love my work.....but also think about the joys of retirement. Hopefully, that will be in the next 5 or 6 years.
I am married to Ray Barrow (we celebrate our 35th anniversay this June). We met when I was in nursing school at the University of Arizona and married in 1972. At the time of my graduation from nursing school in 1975, we had two children (Ginger and Tina - both born during my senior year of college. They are 10 1/2 months apart). Our third child (Eva) was born in 1979. We were living in Crete, Nebraska at that time.
We moved to Kirksville, Missouri in 1981 during which I got my masters degree in nursing and taught nursing at Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University). I later went to law school at the University of Missouri-Columbia. I've been practicing law since 1993. I have offices in Kirksville and...Expand for more
Macon Missouri.
Ray and I currently live in Macon, Missouri. We live in a wonderful old home, built in 1896. I have always loved older homes. Our daughters are grown now. They remain the highlight of my life. Ginger and Tina live in Denver, Colorado. Eva lives in Santa Monica, Ca. Ginger is the only one who is married. She has one child (Jacob, who is 5 years old).
I get "home" to Tucson occasionally. I have kept in touch with Steve and Anne Cox - Anne is a very close friend of mine, so I have seen her and Steve very often over the years. I also see Ginger (Franco) whenever I'm home.
Someday Ray and I plan to retire around the Tucson area. The plan is that we will live there part of the year. The other half of the year we will live in our house at the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.
Hmm...about pictures....I have a Kodak Easyshare, but haven't taken the time to learn how to post pictures. When I get that figured out, I'll post pictures.
I would love to hear from any and all of you.
