Susan's Story
School
Most classmates probably don't even recognize me... I transferred to FWHS at the beginning of my senior year, because at age 17 I married a man who lived in that school district! As such, I didn't get to know too many students, since I was pretty well occupied with my new life.
College
Having gotten married at age 17, I didn't go to college...Expand for more
until I was in my 30's. I had moved back to my hometown San Diego, and got my AA through Mesa Community College, then transferred to SDSU, where I earned a B.S. in psychology. I came to Virginia tech in 1991, at the age of 40, and did my M.S. in Clinical Psychology, and am almost done with my Ph.D.... I'm finishing my last requirement, the dissertation.
