My family has a burial plot in the Clinton (NC) city cemetery. My uncle and namesake was killed at the Battle of the Bulge in WWll. My grandmother established a large Georgia white marble monument in his memory in the cemet

This is Etta Sampson. She worked for my grandparents in the 1950s and 60s. She was my second mother. She taught my mother how to cook and she taught me about life.
This is my grandmother, Lovdie Morgan Hobbs (1889-1963). She had 13 children. My mother was 3rd youngest and the last sibling to pass at age 90 in 2014. Her legacy still lives with me, my sister and all our cousins.
