Susan's Story

My dad was in the Navy from '42 to '72. From '62 to '65 we lived in Jacksonville and I attended N B Forrest. I was pretty much a geek, taking all the Math and Science I could. We moved immediately after graduation, and I haven't kept in touch with anyone. Sure would love to know what some of you are doing at this ripe yound age of medicare eligibility. I spent most of my adult life in Amarillo, Texas, where I attended the local Jr College and West Texas (now A&M) University. I worked for the City for 25 yeaars, and held every almost every position in the IT Department from trainee programmer to manager. I have two grow...Expand for more
n children, and three wonderful grandsons. I am married to my college sweetheart. It took up some time and previous marriages, but we finally got together and we are happily retired and living in San Angelo, Texas. I am a charter member of our local chapter of the EGA (The Embroiderers' Guild of America). I stitch every day, and especially love Hardanger. We take our RV to South Texas (McAllen area) every winter for 3 months, and hang out with real Snowbirds from up north. We dance every week, Chuck plays a lot of golf and I stitch and play cards. Life has been good to me, and I hope you are all blessed as well. Susan
