Susan's Story
I am retired after 30 years of employment with the City of Toledo in customer service. I enjoy speaking and assisting my fellow human beings. I was hired in September 1986 and work for 4 years in the Toledo Health Department. I was promoted and accepted a position in the Toledo Police Department in the Youth Services Department. I was blessed to have a great group of male and female detectives along with a great supervisor, Lt. Shirley Green. We enjoyed a vacation in Nassau and am still in contact with each other. My position was eliminated in the Personnel and Public Affairs section in June 2010 so I transferred to the Public...Expand for more
Utilities Department, Water Distribution as a water dispatcher. Again I was fortunate to have worked with a great group of individuals. I am now enjoying retirement, playing pickelball at the YMCA as well as spending time with my four grandchildren. My oldest grandson lives in Jacksonville, FL and a step grandson in Washington Courthouse, south of Columbus, My redheaded granddaughter, soon to be 13 lives in Bowling Green and my youngest granddaughter, Ava lives in Oregon, Ohio. Time flies when you are experiencing life with its challenges. I would not trade anything for the experiences I had at Libbey High School for 4 years.
