Susan's Story

Life Susan left Topeka, KS in 1978 where I moved to Jonesboro, AR and both attended and worked for Arkansas State University. What a town! I was sooo naive! I moved back to Topeka, KS in 1981 where I worked for the State of KS until 1984. In Dec of 1985 I left for California where I entered in to the property management industry. My background is business management/real estate. Living in So California was a neat experience and I treasure that experience. I returned back to Topeka, KS in April of 2000. I manage property and truly enjoy property management and working with people. It's funny as one of my residents just so happened to be a schoolmate while we attended Jay Shideler Jr. High. City College 1994-1997 College WOW!! Workplace I truly enjoy what I currently do with respect to property management. Yes, there are days with very long hours, however, I find it emotionally rewarding. Also, it helps when the property that you manage has been well taken care of. It makes my job all the more easier. Recently I told my family members that when I've had enough of property management that I will enter in to the Title business. In other words, yet another real estate business of sorts. Of course, they all kind of chuckled and gave the "yeah right" gesture back to me. At times it is fun being the boss and having others serve as your reports. Yet at the same time I would enjoy having my own personal business advisor to assist in the daily routine. Military No way! I only look at men in uniform!! There is nothing more attractive and sexy than a man in his military dress blues.
