Susan's Story

It is great to hear from so many old friends!!! I am living in TX, have 3 kids (one finishing medical school at UT, one a stay at home Mom, and one misdirected 23year old - is that even possible???),grandmother to 4, am married to a great guy, and working with a great company ( I run several Drug Testing facilities, and train Collectors, DER's, and am a BAT ((Breath Alcohol Trainer))...humm.) Yes, I stay way too busy!! Life has taken me many interesting places;from LCHS to NMSU to all over the US. I hate to admit it, but I have moved 19 times in my adult life (that's what happens when you marry military turned corporate.). I have stayed busy raising kids, finding out what I am good at, and always serving in the community that we have lived in. Life is good!! The only family I still have in Cru...Expand for more
ces is my brother Bill, all the rest of us are scattered across the nation, and missing Hatch Chili as much as I am. So if you are still there, and read this message, go eat a big plate of red enchiladas for me. It has always amazed me that no matter how far I have moved from home (LC,NM), I have found old friends and "Bulldogs". And although I have not connected with all of you, you have served my memory well with many fond rememberances. Even though I have grown to be fifty-something, remembering old times and old friends, gives me a great deal of comfort. I missed the 20th and the 30th year reunions; too busy living life, but will not miss the big 4oth. I sincerely hope all my friends are as "gray" as I am, and I look forward to hearing from a few of YOU!! Take care and see you soon!!
