Susan's Story
Life
I'm teaching high school theatre in Napa, CA and serve on the California State Thespian Board. My daughter, Zohn Mandel, is 19, and going to college in Burlington, VT. My dad still lives in the same house in Crestwood. My mother passed away in 2003. I married in college, but the draft encouraged him to enlist and we were separated first by distance, then by time, and finally by choice. es ended that one. I married once again after I moved to San Francisco, but that ended when his midlife crisis was catered to by a 22 yr. old.
Now, I'm pretty much married to the theatre! I spend most of my time working on rehearsals, sets, the costume room and workshop, or doing state board work and attending meetings. The Thespian board produces an annual conference for about 1500 kids. I'd still like to meet Mr. Right #4, but he has to be Mr. Really Right!!!
