Susan's Story

I live in Loveland, Colorado with my incredible husband, Paul. We have five children (ages 22, 26, 28, 30, 32) who are out making their mark on the world in their own unique ways. We have one grandchild and two more due in December. I have been a Hospice RN for the last 14 years. Having never wanted to be a nurse (or anything medical) when I was in high school, this career path has exceeded everything I could have imagined. What an amazing gift these people...Expand for more
give to those around them as they face their last weeks with such dignity and grace and I am humbled by the experience of it all. My husband and I love to travel but find 'ol USA to be so interesting that, together, we haven't ventured out beyond her borders much. Maybe someday. Hope everybody from DC '79 is doing well. I don't have any contact with anybody from back then except for Cindy Medders ('78). Would love to hear how everyone is doing. Take care!!!
