Susan's Story
I moved out west in my sophomore year of college and live in the foothills of the Wasatch Mountains in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am married to my college sweetheart, have a 17 year old son and a 16 year old daughter. The kids both attend East High School where the tween sensation "High School Musical" has been filmed.
My son is a ski racer who traveles the western regional curcuit and follows the snow for training in South America in the summer. My daughter is a junior varsity cheer leader and hip-hop & jazz dancer/performer. Our family loves to camp, ski, swim, hike, mountain bike and travel. laying, 70's rock music! We come to NYC 2 -3 times per year as my family is still all on the east coast.
I attended the 2008 Cabrini reunion with my mother and two sisters. We had a great time seeing other alums, talking to current students and enjoying an outstanding performance by the drum corps and color guard! Father Dorney ( who is now Msgr. Dorney) said the reunion Mass which was really special and he was delightful to chat with.
My husband and I are both self-employed; he develops energy projects and I am a writer and designer for not-for-profit organizations and small businesses. Our lives are very busy with work and two teenagers.
All is good in our world and I hope it is in yours too...
