Susan's Story
Hello from England!
I moved across the pond in 1999, as through a friend of a friend, was offered a job in my chosen profession as a network administrator. Lived near London for awhile, then moved to the Midlands near Birmingham with the company. While in the Midlands, I lived close to stables and at one time, had three horses. Riding English style took some getting used to!
Now, I live in a village on the south coast of England. It's a lovel...Expand for more
y place nestled into the South Downs, very rural and charming but still close to a major town.
Since being here, I joined the local amateur dramatics society and found that I loved being in the lights! Recently, a group of us have been getting together twice a year to take the train to London and go to see a West End production.
I do find myself getting homesick every once in awhile, but inexplicably, I feel this is the right place to be.
