I was born in Oberhausen,Germany.Moved to Winnipeg (unfortunately) in 1960l My best years, when I was able to go OUT(when my mom let me) was in the 60's (late).. I lived across the street from John M. King School...I skated all the time, then all the friends I had from there went to General Wolfe (the old school with the pillars...now it's been rebuilt)...Remember Mr. Whitlaw. Well, I use to rewrite Debbie Dezall's report card because I could sign his signature to the T, also I could sign like Debbie's mom (so we were GOOD), but wouldn't it be funny is Debbie Flunked!.. Bring home marks of A and B and then FLUNK..Guess there is no such thing anymore....No joke when we went to school! For me, I left Daniel Mac after 3 months. worked my (ass) at The Airliner Hotel (Black Knight..posh....at the time) the rest of the year and went back to Tec Voc the following year to get my "Secretarial Degree" which was the thing to do at that time. I graduated in 1973...I now work at Grant Park High School (our Yuppies) in the office and get timetables readyand deal with your children/grandchildren..and I do a good job. I look forward to talking to my old friends. I did go to the General Wolfe Reunion about 10 yrs. ago. and I saw a lot of my old friend.. We laughed a lot everyone should try to contact people..It't nice to keep i touch, compared to the "Crap" that goes on now a days.
