Susie's Story

Hello fellow classmates, this is your little redheaded friend, Susie. Only a few of you have seen me since the 10 year reunion (which is the last one I attended). A lot has happened. I got married, moved to Cincinnati, had a little girl, move to Denver, had another little girl and am now trying to survive each day with one teen and one pre-teen daughter. And you thought Friday the 13th was scary - try being at my house at 6 a.m. when my daughter is getting ready for school. Very frightening. I stayed at home with the girls when they were small, now I'm getting back into the workforce. Currently I'm working part-time for a privately owned medical records storing company. I'm working on accounts payable and receivables now. I really like the owners and enjoy my coworkers. It makes it easy to get up and go to work when you enjoy it. Like many of you, I've learned that the hard way. We moved out here to Denver 11 years ago and really enjoy it. I would never live in WI again - just to rough for me in the Winter. We do visit every Summer because my parents and siblings are still in the area. I'm not sure yet if we will be making it ba...Expand for more
ck for the class reunion. Maybe. If I hear from some of you who would be interested in talking with me and catching up, I might be more inclined to think seriously about it. I still have two great friends that I keep in contact with from high school. You all remember Nancy Nesvacil and Stacy Moan. The three of us have clung onto our friendships and never let go. Stacy is actually responsible for my two daughters. She introduced my husband, Mark, and I back in the Summer of 1993. We have been going strong ever since. I still remember that initial "damn he's cute" thought. Things I remember of high school and Wisconsin is being cold!! I never did like it. I remember wearing my winter jacket in school because the school was so cold. I felt sorry for the cheerleaders when they had to wear their uniforms on game days. Why didn't the boys wear their uniforms? Discrimination! I would have liked to check out their legs too. Another memory was when we first got pop machines in school. That was big and diet coke too. Well, thats enough for now. If you are interested, please send me a note. I have warm and fun memories of many of you.
