Susan's Story
Life
My life took several unexpected turns after I graduated from college. I became a full-time mom, kindergarten teacher, (Teaching was never in any of my plans!) went to grad. school, (Adelphi)then moved to SC, (also never in my plans!) became a part-time substitute, and later, after my husband died, I became a special ed. teacher (Definitely NOT in my plans!). arning disabilities. I have two grown sons who are graphic design artists, and both are married to musicians. I have a black cat but no grandkids. I love to listen to opera and cross-stitch to relax. I grow beautiful roses, but otherwise hate yardwork. I am involved in my church and do a lot of volunteer editing of publications and books. Each year passes more quickly than the last, and sometimes I wonder how 40 yrs. could have passed since high school!
