Susan's Story

Life Currently I own my own internet business where I sell Christian and sacred music as well as soothing instrumentals. I'm married to Randy Dixon (we met when we were 11) and we live in Southern California. Claudette Smart was my maid of honor at our wedding and Brad Shirley was our best man in 1972. They met, fell in love and married the following year. I've sung on 10 Christian albums doing lead and backup vocals as well as 1 movie and I volunteer for Chuck Girard Ministries. Randy worked for Paramount Studios and has worked on the shows "Frasier", "G...Expand for more
irlfriends", "Wings", "Cheers", "Dear John", "The Jeffersons", "Down Home", "Facts of Life", "Who's the Boss" and too many to name. He was a sound engineer for Paramount and was there for almost 22 years. My brother Jeff Courtie (graduated from Poly in 1965) was nominated for an Academy Award for "Robin Hood Prince of Thieves". He's won numerous Golden Reel awards as an ADR mixer. It's been a good life, my only regret is that I was never blessed with having children. But we have two cats - Groucho (because he has a mustache like Groucho Marx!) and Cubby.
