Susan's Story

1969 Got married. Daniel Brown
1971 Had my first daughter. Susan Robin
1973 had my second daughter. Kathy Ann
1976 Divorced
1977 Remarried Lorenzo Dominguez
1984 Changed careers (went into office work from the production line and finished my HS diploma; continued my education and some college courses)
1985 Had my first son. Andrew Dominguez
1988 Husband Died. Lorenzo Dominguez
1990 Had my second son. David Guerra
1992 Married Norman Guerra
1994 Moved to Columbas KS. Hated it there.
1995 Moved to Laughlin NV
1996 Accidently landed a job with the Sheriff's office at the jail. Moved from Laughlin, NV to Kingman, AZ.
1997 Was trained and moved to Fugitive and Warrants / interesting and stressful, but a great job.
2001 Quit MCSO/Jail and went to work for a nursing home in town - big mistake.
2002 Started working for the Public Fiduciary office. Learned (and still learning) a great deal, t...Expand for more
here is a lot of stress working here; some you wouldn't believe; and still hanging in there.
2003 Divorced Norman Guerra. We still get along somewhat, finished raising our son, just can't be married to each other.
2003 After the divorce, started seeing an old friend, Dick Thompson. We are still seeing each other today.
2007 January: SUPRISE - Thyriod Cancer, oops...too late.
2007 February: Radioiodine Therapy
2007 My son, Andrew Dominguez, was killed 04/01/2007; in Texas on his way to work.
Counseling: LIFE IS JUST TOO DAMN SHORT.
2008 David rolled Andrew's truck and totaled it.
2008 Went on my first cruse.
2009 Still here! Still working at the Public Fiduciary office, getting trained and certified, and studying to take my next test to be a licensed fiduciary
2009 February: David got married to Kelly and they moved back to Kingman, AZ.
Have a few more good years left.
