Susan's Story

Now that Starr has put our 40th reunion together (and I just realized that when I joined Classmates in 1999 I put some pretty lame stuff on my profile), I think it is time to say something else - like how thrilled I am to see all this activity and names and information on so many of us. A quick version about my life since we all were together -I left Philadelphia around 1970 (only 2 years at Philadelphia College of Art) and went to San Francisco. Suffice it to say for now, it was a quite a journey those four years in San Francisco. In 1974 I came to Los Angeles and shortly thereafter found myself working in the film industry... a perfect place for the likes of me! hough I swore I would never live in L.A., this town has been incredibly good to me. If it hadn't been for Sylvia Stein (212, too) who tracked me down in the mid 80's when she saw my name on a screen credit - I probably would not have made much of an effort to return to Philadelphia for our reunion. She pushed me a little bit and now I am excited. You see, I haven't been in touch with anyone except for Sylvia and recently our old pal, Debbie Blau. Anyone know where Dina Ghen or Janice Goldman are? Hope you are all doing well! Susan Dukow P.S. Found Kat Flynn (she already knew) and she's coming. Deb Blau has now committed... and I found Dina Ghen today after 40 years! Working on her, but I think she will come!
