Susan's Story

Hi. In 1970 I went to North Shore Community College for an AA degree. I was in the US ARMY from 1975-1978 where I was trained as an LPN in San Antonio, Texas and then was assigned to work at the Walter Reed Army Medical in Washington, DC for two years. I have lived in Maryland since July 1978. In 1982 I graduated from Charles County Community College as a Registered Nurse. Center until mid March 2020 and am now retired. I have been married since 1987 and our daughter, who is 31, is an ER nurse and Nurse Educator.. I enjoy photography, reading, cooking, bicycling with my husband, day trips anywhere, traveling, hanging out with friends, visiting Massachusetts to see my brother and some close friends, and going to the local wineries and restaurants in Maryland with our daughter who is a foodie and a great cook.

Our 24th Anniversary
9 days postop left total knee replacement, walking with cane around house and stairs, 6 exercises to do twice a day and encouraged to start cooking a little- working up to that!

Celebrating 31 years of marriage with my love, partner, and best friend!
Happy 28th Birthday to my lovely daughter Karen who is full of life and adventure!
Enjoyed a relaxing evening at my Holiday party with my new job( since August). A caring and friendly group who have welcomed me to their team.
