Susan's Story
I have been widowed for 4 years, after 44 years of marriage to a remarkable and talented man. All of my 3 children are married, with two living close by and the other in Southern Calif. I currently have 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter (from my 2nd son). My kids are doing well, are great human beings and I’m very proud of their accomplishments.
My daughter was married a year ago, I remodeled my kitchen right after and now trying to fix my much neglected yard.
I retired from my profession 2 years ago after 50 years as a hygienist. I loved my profession and wished I could have continued working, but it was time to retire.

busy with family, friends, downsizing my late parent’s and husband’s numerous collections and the never ending house chores and gardening! Definitely getting my exercise in my 1/4 acre back yard!
I also have numerous hobbies, so I enjoy them as well.
It’s great connecting with friends from my youth! Seems like only yesterday that we were all in HS!
My life has not been boring. As some of my closest friends and relatives have phrased my life…..my life was interesting from the time I was born.
I’ve been asked to write a memoir about my ancestors and my life, but this will have to wait until I finish what’s on my “To Do” list for now.
