Susan's Story
Hi to all my old friends at Patton, Thornridge and Thorton. We have just moved back to the Chicago area after living out of state for 20 years. Eddie and I have been married since 1977 and have two great kids. Right after high school, I went to work as a secretary, and worked as a legal secretary for about 14 years. Ed and I took a big leap of faith in 1989 when we joined a missions agency called World Impact. We ministered with them in the neediest areas of St. Louis, Missouri and then Wichita, Kansas. It seems we have come full circle as Ed is now an associate pastor at Lorimer Baptist Church in Dolton. This is the church where our spiritual journey with Christ began! The move has been a bigger adjustment than I anticipated, however, I feel this is exactly where we should be.

n Elementary. Hope it comes together and we can visit face to face!
One of the things I appreciate most about my years at Patton was being part of the school band. Mr. Reich was tough, but he was a good teacher. His choice in music pieces for the band was my first exposure to classical music. My love for it has grown through the years, although I do appreciate some good R&B and disco at times!
I also remember how tough it was to transfer to TTHS after our first year at Thornridge! After all, they were state champs in football and basketball our freshman year. Band was a bit diappointing at TTHS, but marching bank was fun. Even now when I hear a percussion cadence from a distance during football season at a local high school, my heart swells a bit with the excitement we used to feel as we marched down the streets of Harvey to the football stadium.
