Ron's Story
Life
After graduation, I attended UN Reno for a couple of years majoring in food service mgmt. Stumbled into broadcasting and moved back to Sacramento and worked in radio for a year or so. Transfered to Fresno to work at another radio station and ended up in the Ambulance business. After some time I managed the largest paramedic and ambulance service in Fresno County. Was active in the Red Cross and other Community services. Met my wife and was married in 1978. Moved to Whittier shortly after to manage the ambulance service in Whittier. ed" and went into real estate. I now am a partner and manager of a real estate office in Whittier. My wife retired from the Red Cross after 22 years and now owns and operates a speciality coffee shop and beer and wine pub. We have two children, a boy (24) who graduated from UCSB in 2002 and now attends CSUSD doing graduate work, and a girl (22) who attends UCSB as a zoology major. I also have a son from a previous marrage who attended Annapolis and is career Navy. He is married and has three children. After this long, it seems like there should be more...
