It's amazing how quickly the years fly by. I know there's not a lot of room on this to write everything I've done in my life, but I will give you some of the highlights. I have had such an incredible journey in my lifetime. After high school(1978) I headed to Phoenix Arizona. I started into the graphic arts Industry with local newspapers. I did travel around and lived in several different states in the US not knowing where I really wanted to put my roots down. I continued that for several years, in fact I ended up back in Kansas City for a while managing a printing company. My heart was really not in to doing this for my life's work, so I started working for other people in the bar/restaurant Industry. In the mid 80s I married and moved to New Mexico and after a few years the marriage dissolved. So, I ventured out on my own. I ended up in the early 90s with my own business in the bar/restaurant industry. I retired from that in early 2008. But at the age of 47 I knew it was too early to retire. I moved back to Arizona, the desert is absolutely beautiful. I started two small businesses, a home watch business (we have a lot of people that live here in the valley only half the year, so they need someone to check on their homes weekly) and also a healing business doing Reiki. The healing business is where my heart was truly at so I ended up letting go of the home watch business and I put myself back in College. I now have a successful practice in the Carefree/Cave Creek area in Arizona as a Holistic Health Care Practitioner.I absolutely love what I do.
