Susan's Story

It's amazing how quickly the years fly by. I know there's not a lot of room on this to write everything I've done in my life, but I will give you some of the highlights. I have had such an incredible journey in my lifetime. After high school(1978) I headed to Phoenix Arizona. I started into the graphic arts Industry with local newspapers. I did travel around and lived in several different states in the US not knowing where I really wanted to put my roots down. I continued that for several years, in fact I ended up back in Kansas City for a while managing a printing company. My heart was really not in to doing this for my life's work, so I started working for other people in the bar/restaurant Industry. In the mid 80s I married and moved to New Mexico and after a few years the marriage dissolved. So, I ventured out on my own. I ended up in the early 90s with my own business in the bar/restaurant industry. I retired from that in early 2008. But at the age of 47 I knew it was too early to retire. I moved back to Arizona, the desert is absolutely beautiful. I started two small businesses, a home watch business (we have a lot of people that live here in the valley only half the year, so they need someone to check on their homes weekly) and also a healing business doing Reiki. The healing business is where my heart was truly at so I ended up letting go of the home watch business and I put myself back in College. I now have a successful practice in the Carefree/Cave Creek area in Arizona as a Holistic Health Care Practitioner.I absolutely love what I do. In my practice I am also a sound healing specialist, the work is...Expand for more
so amazing, you can read more about it on my website. I have recently remarried (Feb.14, 2014) to a wonderful man, Brian Esayenko. Brian is Canadian so we also have a home and farmland in Saskatchewan. We recently opened a new business for Brian, we landed a big job in Montana and Brian is now living up there. It looks like we're going to end up with three homes. I'm always up for traveling. :-) LOL.Looks like I'm going to be putting on a lot of air miles in order to see my husband occasionally. Life is always an adventure. :-D Along with my practice I will be continuing my education working towards more degrees. I love being in school and now with the technology we have with the Internet it's amazing how much one person can accomplish. I don't know that there's anything that I would change about my life. It has been an Amazing journey. I guess I could add that I have never had children in my lifetime but I have had some amazing animals, dogs, horses, cats, They have brought a lot of joy into my life. Right now I have Huskies in my life. That's enough to keep anyone busy. :-D You're always welcome to join me on Facebook and Linkedin. The one thing I will warn you about on my Facebook is that I am quite an activist when it comes to the environment and our food system. :-) So if you can handle some of my post would love to see you there. I would just like to add that everyone needs to research more about the foods that they are eating ( eat only organic and non-GMO ) and recycle everything. We need to think about the generations that are following us. May all of your lives be filled with lots of Love and Peace.
