Susan's Story

Life Hi there. My name is Susan Haskell Luedtke. I live in Tucson and own a small childrens retail store named "The Stork's Nest of the Old Pueblo" I opened the store in the fall of 2003, we are going on four years now and I still love it! I live near Sabino Canyon with my husband Kurt and daughter Hallie. I met and married Kurt while living in Del Mar CA with my younger sister Barbara. Kurt and I moved back to Tucson in 1991 and have been negotiating about moving back ever since. I love Tucson and don't ever want to move again. Although, I would love a summer home in Southern California. My best friends are still constant, yet distant, my little sis Barb Haskell (Nichols...Expand for more
) who is still in California and Jennifer Shannon (Goerdt) who is in Chicago. I am fortunate to have made many wonderful friends since my return to Tucson and I meet great people every day at my store. I feel very lucky Workplace I worked at EF Hutton and Wells Fargo Bank in La Jolla California from 1981-1985. In 1989, I began working in the telecommunications industry and worked for GTE, USWest, Airtouch, Verizon and AT&T selling wireless service and phones. I love what I do now, it took me too long to realize that today's corporations, many who work for them and the values they promote are not my reality and I will never desire that enviroment again. Yippee Skippee!
