Susan's Story
I graduated from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana in 1973 and got my Masters in Social Work from the University of Illinois, Chicago campus in 1976. I married Bill Clements June 2, 1972 and have two children, Amanda and Karl. Amanda is married and lives in Juneau, AK with her husband and two children, Elaine and Alan. Karl lives in Seattle. Bill died of non smokers lung cancer in 2009.

pist for 15 years, and ended my career in hospital social work and social work in a cancer center. I don't know how I knew that I would love social work so much in high school, but it was great. I retired in June 2017 and love working in my garden, reading, and being with my friends. on Diamond Point, Discovery Bay, Sequim, WA. I'm looking forward to seeing other "grads" in August. I found the commencement speech that I gave when we graduated and will bring a copy for our mutual giggles and general good fun.
