Susan's Story

Life My Spouse I met my husband through someone I ran into at our 20th reunion. I had never been to reunion and decided to go to this one. I ran into Buddy Wise who I had not seen in as many years. He talked me into joining the fire company that he belonged to and I met my husband there. If I had not gone to reunion we probably wouldn't have met even though the fire house was right near my house. Thanks Buddy (Charlie Wise) My Pets All we have is a bird. His name is Tweety (orig. Huh!)and he is a cockateal. He doesn't talk all he does is scream real loud. Very annoying. My daughter had to have it for her birthday when she was little and now it is our bird. Lucky us. My Kids I have wonderful children and they have given me alot of grey hair. My son is Mark, 24, single, and the father of my granddaughter who is 5 (love of my life) My oldest daughter Shannon is 18 and graduating from Ridley this year. What a joy she ...Expand for more
is. 5'10" track star and very hard working. My youngest is Kellie. She is 16 and a real beauty. This is her first year in high school and she is doing quite well. Another track star....looks like she will break some of her sisters records. She will be going up to the new high school next year. My Job I work for a masonry company as a secretary/receptionist. I really like my job although I would really like to get paid more ...wouldn't we all. I have been there for almost three years. I got that job through someone in the fire house. I went from a job in the medical field to construction. What a jump. My college training is medical but there was just too much stress. When my place of business closed down I just didn't have it in me to look for something in that field. I went on unemployment for 6 month (nice little vacation)then found this job. Jeans and tee shirts. Who could ask for more except more money....LOL
