Susan's Story
My husband and I are fund raisers for Children's Miracle Network at UVA. A great place to donate money or time. My granddaughter was in a terrible car accident with well over $1 million dollars owed. The eqipment purchased by Children's Miracle Network saved her life. She had a tramatic brain injury and was given 1 hour to live. Had two strokes, got meningitis and was paralized on the left side. Since graduation I was married, had two boys, divorced all by 21. I then went to school to be an LPN after 5 years I remarried and have a boy, and girl. I went back to college and received my RN License.
I am not the same person I was in high school. Fortunately we usually grow up. My husband and I have been married for almost 29 years. I love to travel to the beach anywhere. The older I get the more medical issues I have. I am doing good. How about you?
