Susan's Story

Life After 20 years I have been retired from the Provincial Government for 9 years now. I have 3 grown boys and 4 granddaughters ages 9, 10, 13 and 16 They all live in Victoria so I do spend a fair amount of time with them. I love to golf in the summer and curl in the winter. After an angioplasty in 2004, I have learned to live a healthier lifestyle and I walk every day and eat healthy, and no....I am not a heal...Expand for more

I still love to have lots of fun and laughter in my life and although I am very young at heart, and my 30th, 40th, 50th birthdays did not fizz on me....turning 60 was difficult for me. After moving to Parksville 2 years ago to enjoy our retirement together, my husband Bob sadly passed away on May 20th.....he never got to enjoy retirement.. Looking forward to yet another reunion some time soon!!!
