Susan's Story

Life Feb 2017 - And life marches on - working on a Government project - whole new world!! Matthew and Tara got married April 2014 - beautiful ceremony. And Bob battled Leukemia in fall - winter 2013 - 2014.. He went thru chemo and it worked - last time we saw his oncologist, the doctor used the word "cured" and told us Bob finally had an immune system!! Not much else - life is pretty good! Well things have changed yet again since 2010! We have had some interesting life events - Bob has been dealing with the after effects of a stroke he suffered due to a systemic Staph A infection - he is coming along quite well according to all the medical professionals. We got married June 8th of this year - we met in Aug 1992 and have been together since then - it really does...Expand for more
n't feel any different, just had to go thru a name change. And the worst to deal with name changes?? FACEBOOK!! Matthew (the youngest of the four kids between us) got engaged Easter weekend to a wonderful young woman - they are to get married April 12, 2014! A lot has changed since 2004 - it's now 2010 and I am with Parsons Brinckheroff Americas. I'm back in the construction world - I am the Sr Cost Manager and scheduler for a project in Taiwan. I also have my own business on the side - I provide project controls / project management services to small firms. I have gotten my Project Managment Professional (PMP) certification and am going for a Certified Construction Manager certification next. Life is really quite good!!
