Susan's Story
Life
I live in California, for 22 years now. I been married for 28 years to a wonderful man, he is in construction. I have three children, 29, 26 and 24, my oldest son is married, works for Verizon Cellular, and I have a grandson (which is wonderful) and a beautiful granddaughter. My daughter is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and is soon moving to Livermore, CA. My youngest son still lives at home, helps out around the house and is still trying to find his place in life. I work for the San Juan School District in the Food Service Department as a supervisor of 15 elementary schools. I like my job and my life. We are active in the church, we both are teaching in the Children's Sunday School Department and I am the Director of the Children's Sunday School Department, which keeps me busy but not as much as it should. ay spider or sudoku on the computer. My lowest point in my life is when my mother passed away 5 years ago. She struggled a long time with many illnesses and finally the Lord took her home to be pain free and no longer on diaylsis. I miss her! But I know she is much better off. My joy is my grandson, he is so special. He has autism, high functional, he is so loving and active. I have to rest after we have him, he wears me out. He is seven. His mother is wonderful with him, and my son is too. My granddaughter is a very active and wonderful child. Full of imagination and laughter. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with her as well, she is 3 years old. This is pretty much my life, you might think it is boring and at times I do too, but on the whole, I have a wonderful life. The Lord has blessed us with so many things, with wonderful friends and family and health, so what more could you ask for.
