Susan's Story
Although I didn't graduate with the class of 75, or 76 or any year within the decade, I did get to see lots of Canada. I moved from Ontario to Alberta when I was 17, came back to Ontario at 18 and moved back out west to Vancouver at 21. I returned once again to Ontario at 22 and started to take life seriously. I got a job in Toronto with Kayser Roth (not many will remember that name) and after a year as showroom rep I got my own territory and transferred out to British Columbia again. On my 27th birthday I met my husband John Fotiadis and we were married a year and a half later. My first child "Celina" was born Sept 18th 1985 and three months later I was transferred back to Toronto as a National Accounts manager. ion to visit Johns family in Greece, to move back to Vancouver. It was then that I finally decided to do something constructive and got my certification as a Kitchen designer. I found that I really enjoyed design and built myself up a very good client base over the years. In 1997 though we decided it was time for another change and we packed up everything and came to Greece.
The children are now grown, they are both attending University in Ottawa. Since coming here we started a business directory, and are now on our 5th edition. I have become a self taught graphic artist, and do all the ads for the directory, while John handles the sales staff (when we can find any).
I am currently looking forward to the children coming home Yannis for the whole summer, Celina just for a break in August.
So that is my story to date, I never did write a book, but I guess being a publisher is getting close.
