Susan's Story

My Life. After graduation I went to college for 2 years. In the process, I fell in love and got married. I've been married for 40 years now and have 3 sons. The oldest is an aero space engineer. The middle one was killed by a drunk driver as he walked home Mother's Day morning. He was 21. My youngest became a chemical engineer for 2 years, but learned from his brothers death, that life is amazingly short. He decided to follow his heart and became a Navy Pilot. Ive been into yoga and alternative medicine and now, you wouldn't know I've ever had it. MS, of coarse. did not go away. But, I definately stay away from stress. I walk like I'm normal now, even though I've had MS for 20 years. Heat over 80 degrees still steals my mucles. I quit my job 14 years ago. Now I'm a "grunt". My husband has a national job that requires a great deal of travel. I travel with him 2-3 weeks a month. Our greatest joy is eating at home. If he has anytime off, we go HOME. I think back to graduation, when I had all the answers to the problems of the world. Now, they've changed all the questions. I now enjoy every day amd live in total peace. It keeps us in total health. Susan (Morgan) Ritchie
