Susan's Story
Graduated from UCSB with a degree in English. Completed a teacher education program at the University of Santa Clara with a pretty awful student teaching experience! My husband, Stan, along with our then 2 young children moved from the Silicon Valley to Northern Virginia in 1995. Child number three arrived a little later. All three are successfully launched!

ce was not ideal. I went on to work in commercial property management, then on to Ashton Tate (which was bought by Borland) -- first as tech support, the publications and training. Survived several layoffs....until the last one. Which, shortly thereafter, I received my call to ministry.Turns out that every job I've had is useful in ministry!
I am an ordained Presbyterian pastor -- currently doing outreach ministry.
