Life
bill and i live in erie. pa. he's a dr/surgeon and so we lead a very busy life. we love to travel and do so alot. in sept we traveled to new brunswick canada, toronto, columbus and pittsburgh to see the rolling stones. bill is one of their biggest fans. this year we have a full schedule of medical conventions dallas, new hampshire, and vegas as well as going on vacation in martha's vinyard. for next year we already have england and colorado in the works. last oct. we spent 5 wonderful nights in a suite on the top floor of the four seasons hotel in chicago for a medical convention. i didn't want to leave! paul mccartney stayed on our floor the last night we were there!!! i'm still working part-time as a nurse and still enjoy it though with this big home to take care of i only pick up a couple shifts a week. my son bob is 27 now and lives with a wonderful girl named michelle in perry, oh. my son carl is 25 and living in dayton. both are happy and well and i miss them terribly. my brother brad is married, and he and his wife debbie and daughter ashley live in ma...Expand for more
dison, oh. we are very close and i see him as often as i can.
my mother passed away 5 yrs ago this past christmas. i still miss her but life goes on. i know she'd be very happy for me and how things have turned out.
1/23/08 update: bill and i are still doing well and still in erie though he is thinking about relocating at some time in the future. i still work part time as a nurse. i had my stomach banded last sept. and am dropping weight steadily. we still travel alot, i fell in love with new orleans in november. bill has been asked to go to china this june as a good will ambassador for opthalmology so another dr's wife and i are going to new orleans for 2 weeks. my oldest son bob is getting married to his girlfriend of 7 yrs on july 5,2008 and i am so excited. my other son carl is doing well and staying with bill and i at this time nursing a badly broken hand. brad and his wife and daughter are doing great and still in madison, oh.
I always wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a good idea. As it turns out, they were right.
