After graduating from Port Jeff, I spent a year at Transylvania College in Lexington, KY (remember Mr. Thomas? (Pritchard did you graduate?). After my freshman year I transferred to what is now Binghamton University (variously known as Harpur College, SUNY Binghamton). I graduated in 1969 and got married that month. We lived in Endicott, NY for a year before heading out west in 1970 to Pullman, WA where my husband did his graduate work in anthropology and I continued working as a caseworker. While in Pullman, I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, Rachel. Six months later, we moved to Guatemala for about 6 months and then returned to WA. We spent more time in Pullman, then on to Port Angeles and Seattle. After separating and eventually divorcing, I moved to Boise, Id for about 2 years - remarried. From there, we moved to Corbett, Or and began remodeling an old farmhouse (still one of my favorite homes).
