Susan's Story
Life
I don't really think I've changed very much since high school - still the same loud, aggressive, and high-energy kind of kid... I still love to ski in the winter and bike (now mountain biking) in the summer. My biggest surprise is that I settled down to become a housewife for 20 something years and raised two kids. to the local school board here -that cuts into my fun time but I love the job! I also volunteer at the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care center. This summer, I cared for 5 bears, 2 hawks, a river otter and countless baby birds - it's a very rewarding job! The worst part of my life was losing two siblings and my father in the last few years. I'm looking forward to visiting my daughters at their schools in San Diego (UCSD) and New Orleans(Tulane University)this year.
