Susan's Story
As I grow older I realize that we have only a few years left. I can't believe I have 3 children in their 20's from my first marriage and 2 under the age of 12. What was I thinking? I have worked very hard in my life. I wish I would have stayed single till I was about 28 and became the nurse I always wanted to be. I am a mail-carrier for the last 20 years. I enjoy it and it keeps me active but I don't have the energy that I wish I had to complete nursing school. I have become the main income for both marriages which puts a strain on time and money. Life is what your make it and the Love you can pass on to our children. They don't know...Expand for more
what or have you have sacrificed until they have a baby of their own. I am now a Grandma and I love it. I just wish I would have had alot more confidence. If I could do it over I wouldn't have been so self-conscious. We are all just people trying to get through this old life. What wonderful memories from LHS. My Dad moved my sister and I in our 11 and 12 grades. That is sure a cruddy thing to do. I changes who you are and what potentials that we could have in the South Bay. Instead we were moved from a beach town to a valley-girl town. Boy we had a hard time fitting in. Oh Well. We made it through. Thank God for my sister Alice.
