Susan's Story

Life After graduating from LHS, I attended Bates College, graduating in 1965. I started teaching elementary school in Acton Public Schools in September of that year and have been there ever since. I was married in 1968 to Lawrence Melander who I met at Bates. We lived in Acton for a few years and then bought a house in Littleton in 1972---we've been h...Expand for more
ere ever since, too. We have one daughter who graduated from LHS in 1993 and was recently married. I served on the Littleton School Committee from 1988 to 2000---just lost re-election in May. Our family loves to travel and we have been to 48 states plus Europe and China. There are still a lot of places we want to visit----is retirement coming soon????
