Susan's Story
Life
So, where to start. It's been a long time since I have heard from or about any of you out there in our class.
I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. I also have 3 (soon to be 4) grandsons. I live in Sahuarita, Arizona. I moved here when the youngest of my kids, Ashley, joined the Airforce and didn't come home to Calif. She being the youngest and the only one at home for some years left me with that empty nest thing, so I followed her here. She is now out of the Air Force but married her Staff Sgt. and he has 2 more years to retirement so they are stationed here still at Davis-Monthan AFB in Tucson. They are expecting their first child, a little boy, in November.
So I work at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson Az. as a PCT. That is a Patient Care Technician in the Neuro- ICU. while continuing education towards nursi...Expand for more
ng. I love my job and now wonder why I didn't do something in the medical field long ago.
I live with my 12 year old "Pugoodle" and my cat. We live on an acre out in the desert so there are alot of wild critters hanging around such as havalinas and coyotes, prairie dogs, jack-alopes and so on. I don't mind driving into town to work as I like living outside town where it's not so populated.
I do get back to California every few months tho not to the BayArea anymore. I had moved to a small town in Northern Calif., Clipper Mills, and loved it there. I still have alot of friends there so I go back to visit as often as I can. I do love the mountains and the lakes and rivers there much more than the desert in Az. but work and family keeps me here.
