Update 7/3/09 I guess it is time to update my profile since so much has changed over the past few years. The kids have grown; my youngest is 16 now and driving. She is an awesome soccer player and she hopes to receive a college scholarship. Alex has won several district awards for varsity 1st team positions and she is only in 10th grade. I have a grandchild (how did I get this old?). My husband and I bought a cabin resort on Lake Travis in the Austin area (help, KK I need your advise on vacation rentals), Willie Nelson lives up the road from our cabins and at one time was our next door neighbor. Hard to believe but we actually spent Easter at Willie's place and we had a great time! I did not win the election for the Municipal Director but I ran a good honest fight. I did get elected for Board of Directors for the Pecan Grove Fire Department which has been a challenge but I enjoy the great friendships. My husband and I are active with the Houston Rodeo. I now have the cowboy outfits and hat, a whole new way of living. Life has been busy and I apologize for not answering emails. I have enjoyed receiving the emails and some evening I will caught up and reply. If you ever find yourself in the Houston area please give me a call and let's get together, I'd love to see you.
