Susan's Story
Hi Everyone-
Nothing much new in my life- working as I always have- did alterations for the largest part of 30 years and have retired from that - Have 2 wonderful kids- My daughter Brooke who is 31 just graduated from law school this past June, passed the Bar and is an ADA in the Bronx, she lives in Brooklyn and has been married 2 years to an investment Banker.
My son works for Key Bank and is the teller who was held at gunpoint during a gang style robbery in the city. My heart has finally settled down! I have been married for 31 years and am trying to change that- It's time to be on my own again. I live in Amherst , where oddly enough I found my great grandparents lived in 1900 while doing some genealogy research. With a cousin I didn't remember having ( she grew up ...Expand for more
in Tonawanda) we have researched my Fathers family line and found that we are descended from a signer of the Declaration of Independence from pennsylavania, where my family is originally from. Such excitement for us "older" family members- the younger ones are not impressed.
Now I work as a cashier trying to keep busy and trying to stay healthy- after survivng cervical cancer and breast cancer, I am trying to deal with my latest challenge Diabetes. It runs in my family . So far so good-

Changes , always changes. My son recently re-located to Chicago, where he thinks he has met the love of his life. Likes chicago better than buffalo apprently. No grandchildren yet- just an adorable cock a poo granddog named bella!
