Susan's Story
I met my husband Scott in 1977 & we were married in 1985. We have 3 boys, Paydon (30), Shane (27) & Austen (24). We have lived in West Allis, WI, Nixa, MO, Bonney Lake WA & now in St. Peters, MO. My schools include New Berlin West High School and I later attended MATC - Downtown Milwaukee where I earned an Associate of Science Degree in Physical Therapy in 1982 and an Associate of Arts Degree in General Education in 1986. I worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant, a Special Education Para-educator & a Career Specialist. What most of you don't know is that I have been living with MS for the past 21 yrs. it up until now but I recently participated in the MS walk her in St. Peters. I had a team of 19 walk here and another 7 walk Wisconsin. The reason I'm sharing this now is because my team posted lots of info and pix on facebook so I guess its out there now, lol! Anyways, I was able to walk the entire mile and we all cried when I crossed the finish line. It was a great day! I never let my MS get in my way or bring me down, I have the disease, the disease doesn't have me! I enjoy gardening, traveling, breeding Golden Retrievers & spending time in Wisconsin with family.
